Costume Design in Film, Television and Theatre contributes to the Director’s vision and the Actor’s character development. Costumes are comprised of physical, emotional and spiritual choices that support bringing a story to life whether it is set in the past, present or future. A passionate desire to transcend the mundane

Brenda truly loves to Design. She experiences great joy in painting pictures with her costumes and having them realized within the frame of a camera lens. She fully believes in the magic of collaborative process: connecting with and embracing the Director’s vision, achieving synchronicity with the Production Designer and the DOP and then creating a costume that serves their needs as well as aiding the Actor in the development of his/her character.

Early Years

Although her work in Fashion as a Stylist and Designer began years earlier, Brenda's career in Film began in 1994 and her role as a Costume Designer for Film and Television launched in the year 2000.

Her eye for design is an innate talent that pushed her to study Art and Art History, 20th and 21st Century Pop Culture, Film Studies, Theatre and Radio and Television Arts; all of which have contributed to her successes in the music, fashion, theatre, film and television industries.

Brenda strives for authentic and excellent quality in all her work.
